Because of a donor hero, and their loving family, I went from near death to representing Australia on the sporting stage and every Australian when talking with politicians about recognising deceased Organ Donors and their families.
We need to recognise our donor heroes. Stop rewarding recipients and direct money towards educating families, research into more effective treatments and Transplant Services.
