Major ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING #organdonationawareness
As a successful business manager with tertiary studies in marketing, media, business administration and law, who has extensive leadership and executive governance experience, I have decided to nominate to be a Board Member on the Transplant Australia Board.
I have lived experience as a forever grateful transplant recipient and as a passionate advocate across Australia.
I have worked successfully in recent years with State and Federal Governments, Parliaments and politicians to raise awareness for Organ and Tissue Donation.
My advocacy has been recognised in the passing of Federal Legislation in our National Parliament and my story read into Hansard in multiple state parliaments to influence and bring about legislative and policy changes across Australia.
I have attended the World Transplant Games competing in both team and individual events and participated in events to raise awareness for Donor Families Australia, Gremmo Foundation Jersey'day and DonateLife .
I have met and had amazing conversations with living donors, donor families and recipients of ages and transplants.
