The 58th Parliament in NSW has been sworn in and the dawn of new initiatives and a new plan for Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplant Awareness is upon us.
In the 57th Parliament Members Mehan and Crouch cochaired the first gathering of the inaugural Parliamentary Friends of Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplant Awareness.
During the first meeting the meeting was addressed by the opposition Heath Minister Mr Ryan Park, who spoke about the importance of advocating for changes in Organ and Tissue Donation.
The last major reform in NSW came in the form of the Increasing Organ Donation in NSW
Government Plan 2012.
I am confident that 2023 will bring watershed improvements in NSW through the will of the new Parliament.
