The Transplant Journey for most is full of ups and downs. Sometimes it is one step forward and two steps back.
Some days you can take on the world and the next you wonder what the next challenge will be that life will throw at you.
With the numbers of organ donations decreasing year on year in Australia and the focus of the world transplant community coming to Perth in April, it is good to see collaboration between those on the Transplant Journey.
It is encouraging to see Transplant Australia and Herd of Hope, two charities advocating for support for those on the transplant journey and awareness of organ and tissue donation, meeting in Canberra to promote the World Transplant Games.
